Aeonium spathulatumis aboriginal to theCanary Islands . It occurs on La Palma , El Hierro , La Gomera , Tenerife , and Gran Canaria at elevations roll from 820 to 8,200 foot ( 250 to 2,500 m ) .
Aeonium spathulatumis a small , densely branchedsucculent shrubwith spoonful - shaped leaf arranged in rosettes at the end of the ramification . It can grow up to 2 feet ( 60 cm ) tall . Aeoniums do not like red-hot or dry conditions . They may go dormant in summertime and do not require any water except in desiccated conditions .
