It ’s All or Nothing . And yes – when you watch the picture we have tie – you will realize we are “ all in ” for this project . In fact – you might say we are a trivial crazy ( although we like to use the parole “ passionate ” ) about our book project “ grow Simple . ”
I wrote two article this workweek to publish and institutionalise out for this morning ’s Sunday Farm Update – know I could only choose one .

One is very boring , actually it is a downright lame article announcing our book task and postulate in a very humble direction for your assistance .
The other post is a bit more direct – a bit more highly strung – and like a shot to the point . And if you are read this right now – that means that I had the guts to hit the send button on the edgy one . I hope I did – and I trust you are take this . After all – are we not the two people who always say if something is important to you – go for it ? ! So – here it exit …
There are three thing that we are most lofty of with our farm and website .

One – we have never live with a individual dollar from a single advertiser . We choose to keep it free of advert – free of misdirection – and free of any worry that we commend or talk about something in rules of order to be paid for it .
Two – we have always stay honest to our promise to keep it actual and create the farm on a zero - debt basis .

The ill-fated silo project! It may have failed -but we still have fun talking about trying to build it.
Three – That this “ simple animation of horticulture , cooking , canning and DIY ” that we lecture about has somehow lead to 60,000 followers from around the world to consider in it too !
As we talked about last week in our update – there is one final goal for us that completes the entire farm task – to publish a Holy Writ and tour around the land to spill the beans about the “ growing simple ” construct .
We genuinely believe in what we are doing at our little farm – and I know that others do too . I think most people can tell that we bed what we do in every clause we spell . We are real – we make mistakes – we are not afraid to fail – and when we do – we laugh and try again .

For all of the simple horticulture method we have essay – a few have bend out so poorly that even the deer and rabbits leave them alone . But that realness and simplicity is what we conceive is so crucial – and why we think the maturate wide-eyed book would be of value !
Too many times – masses watch garden and cooking shows or scan about those subjects in magazines and books and it ’s all about the project turning out pure . That ’s just not veridical – and I think when the great unwashed ca n’t duplicate those results in the garden , kitchen or Grant Wood shop – they only give up and feel like they have failed . I think our web log have proven the real success of any project is in the trying – and that nothing is ever a true failure if you simply do n’t give up . In the end – if you may smile and laugh at what you did – it was all deserving it .
So – back to the script . One manner or another – we are going to figure out how to do it – and we hope we are worthy of your help . It ’s not an cheap venture to say the least – and I am not afraid to say that this meter – we need a little help to launch it all !
For that help – we produce a Kickstarter campaign .

With this support , we can create and self - release a beautiful , full - colouring material , approximately 200 page hard - spring book , with a first - run printing of 500 copies to habituate in our book tour . It will also pay for the set up of on - demand printing for all additional order , and defray initial set up costs of the tour to embrace the 10 most popular urban center that presently follow us on the blog in the U.S.
The total cost of the yield of the Word of God , eastward - book and printing for 500 full coloring firmly bound copies is gauge at $ 8500.00 .
So – the question is this – is what we are doing worth it ? Is it worth it enough to avail ? Is it worth enough to support us in a causal agency that we not only consider in – but give our hearts to ?
