The observe salad will enliven any meal – from a rootage veg casserole , Italian pasta dish , or any southwesterly - style formula . Since I tend not to buy out - of - time of year Lycopersicon esculentum in the wintertime – I use fresh citrus with my salad greens – and they are even great on a taco salad with bonce and avocado .

I expend all kinds of orange tree , tangerines and mini clementine , even grapfruit . Sometimes I slice them for a pretty hybrid plane section presentation , other times I just let on them into segments . Often time I put the segments into the orange sauce vinaigrette while I ’m preparing the salad greens which gives them extra pizazz . If I have leftover vinaigrette I keep it for another salad – however it is scrumptious on steamed beets and/or asparagus .
