To make the most of this narrow space , Cherry hascontainersmounted on the paries . The plants visible here includeFuchsia‘Gartenmeister Bonstedt ’ ( zone 10–11 or as an annual ) , ‘ Rita ’s Gold ’ Boston fern ( Nephrolepisexaltata‘Rita ’s Gold ’ , Zones 10–11 or as an annual ) , sundown fern ( Dryopterislepidopoda , Zones 6–9),Polemoniumpulcherricum‘Golden Feathers ’ ( Zones 5–9 ) , andDryopterisdilatata‘Crispa Congesta ’ ( Zones 5–9 ) .
Fuchsia‘Pink Marshmallow ’ ( Zones 10–11 or as an annual ) graced the course and mostly endure till earlyDecember .

Athyriumfilix femina‘Dre ’s Dagger ’ ( Zones 4–8 ) thrives and continues to wow !
Smallpotsshow off individualfoliage plantsto perfection .
Athyrium‘Godzilla ’ ( Zones 5–9 ) is maturing easy and steadily . For those take care forfull - refinement perennials , I am well-chosen to report thatLeucothoefontesiana‘Rainbow ’ ( Zones 5–8 ) flourishes .

ThisAdiantumpedatum(Zones 3–8 ) is a spectacular division from the garden .
I could n’t protest decorating , so I fashioned a pillage out ofdried flowersfrom the garden — mine and Sylvia ’s .
Begoniachloroneura(Zones 10–11 or as a houseplant ) is enjoying itssummer vacation out of doors .

A beat - up wooden arch that I snagged for barren from Craiglist framesTricyrtishirta(Zones 4–8 ) , primrose , and somehouseplants .
Hawkshead fuchsia is one of my preferent fuchsias , given its dainty ballerina - similar white flowers . It truly radiate in the shade ! Here it is inNovember .
