This planting makes purpose of a very simple design proficiency : choose plants with flowers in a similar color range , and it really makes the garden look more cohesive and intentional .

A monarch feeding on the bright orange peak of the butterfly weed ( Asclepiastuberosa , Zones 3–9 ) . Monarch caterpillars only feed on the farewell of plants in the milkweed genus , Asclepias . This works is a beautiful one that please human and insect visitors alike .

As the name implies , this mintage is a good choice if you have consistently blotto stain , though it will thrive in normal , well - enfeeble garden soil as well .
