An eclectic garden in the Pacific Northwest
My name is Allison and I am from the beautiful Pacific Northwest , in Bellingham , Washington . I have been working on my garden for about three eld now , and I ’d love to share some exposure with you ! I have an eclectic garden , full ofpollinatorperennials , as well as a smallvegetable garden . I enjoy break up my garden space into different vignettes and implant in unusual containers to create interest during each garden “ moment . ” Please enjoy .
Blue Lake celestial pole bonce ( Phaseolusvulgaris‘Blue Lake ’ , yearly ) grow on a trellis with rhubarb ( Rheumrhabarbarum , Zones 3–8 ) in a wine-coloured barrel — proof a planting can be beautiful and raise food .
‘ Rosita ’ genus Agastache ( Agastachecana‘Rosita ’ , Zones 5–10 ) , with agarden shedin desktop , is a deer- and lapin - resistive plant that blossom for a foresighted menstruum in the summer . The bloom of youth are attractive to hummingbird .

Succulentsare a good choice for shallow , untraditional container like this , because the grease will dry out easily and the succulents wo n’t take care that at all .
Solar - powered lanterns are an easy way to bring light into the garden . Virginia creeper ( Parthenocissusquinquefolia , Zones 3–9 ) on the fencing wraps this corner in greenery .
