It’s been three years since we’ve heard from this window-box designer, but it was worth the wait

Hi GPODers !

Today ’s submission is short and sweet-scented , but when I saw these photos pop up up in the GPOD inbox I recognise the innovation esthetic instantaneously and knew I had to share . If you ’ve been following Garden Photo of the Day for a while , you might remember Howard Nemeroff ’s window loge through the season . ( If you require a refresher , check it out here . ) . Over three yr ago he shared his over - the - top designs , and today he ’s finally back with more creations that might be even more impressive than the first .

This blueprint is so bewitching and capricious it glows , literally . In wintertime we often work on hard to bring little part of verdure and nature inside , but this window box flips that notion and give the magic trick that nature is bursting out from indoors . Evergreen clippings of all anatomy , forms , and texture break loose from this window and really make you question how anyone can remember winter planting are dull .

A more traditional take on wintertime arrangements is no less mesmerizing . Blue and purple berries count like sputter precious stone among the shower of common .

at last , spring brought a colorful refresh . Bunches ofbegonias(Begoniahybrid , one-year ) distich so perfectly with variegated flax lily ( Dianellatasmanica‘Variegata ’ , one-year ) and Yellow Ripple common ivy ( Hedera‘Yellow Ripple ’ , yearly ) .

Has Howard exalt you to install some window boxes ? Or peradventure strain something Modern in your container plantings this year ? prominent or small , we ’d bang to see what you ’re pot up this season !
