Missing an old garden, but making a new one
Nancy Hoffmann partake in pictures with us last year ofher former gardenthat she , unfortunately , had to move away from . But just as the flowers of spring return every year , gardeners keep making new gardens even when they have to lead an old garden behind . So today Nancy is sharing images of her new garden , and it is great to see the distance begin to fill with flowers .
I sent pics of my old garden that I still miss terribly . But my new garden is really starting to flourish . The majestic coneflowers(Echinacea purpurea , Zones 3–9 ) are so very brilliant , almost neon . The bee balm(Monardasp . ) is very glad and spreading mighty along . I am really glad I give away sneezeweed(Heleniumsp . ) because it ’s one of my favorites and it blooms all summertime . A darling friend give me the beautiful lily that I think are Asiatic . Just like in my erstwhile garden there is cardinal grosbeak flower(Lobelia cardinalis , Zones 3–9 ) EVERYWHERE ! It has n’t bloomed yet , but I will send more pic when the next moving ridge of belated fuckup arrives . There is still a draw of plants to get , but a gardener ’s work is never done .
A white Asiatic lily , paint with just the lightest dusting of dark freckles .

Another Asiatic lily , this one dramatically marked with a dark approach pattern over the blanched petal . Huge and diverse , the Asiatic grouping of lily hybrids admit some of the brightest people of colour and most interesting pattern to be found in lily .
The new garden is begin to satiate in this bed go along the fencing .
Plants in flower and spread to fill in the space .

The huge violent prime heads of bee balm dominate at the moment , with cardinal blossom waiting in the wing to sway on the show later in the season .
Purple coneflowers so vivid they almost glow .
