Today ’s photos are from Daniela Baloi in Hudson , Ohio . If you ’ll think , we tour Daniela ’s garden in summertime back in February . ( freshen your memoryHERE . ) Today we get to see springtime in her garden .
Daniela says,“We go April with some calorie-free snow here in Hudson , Ohio , Zone 5b . A few hours later the snow stop and it is now gay with not much too ploughshare from our garden other than last twelvemonth ’s April painting . fountain was a calendar month early in 2012 and we had tulips and Narcissus pseudonarcissus in bloom as early as March 25th .
“ I always look frontwards to the tulips exhibit since the people of color and the shape are so gorgeous . Last year we had four salmagundi of tulips with different flower times lining the terrace edge of the resurrect rose bed . We had blush from mid March to remainder of April , which was more than we were hoping for .

“ We also implant a coupleFritillariabulbs in between the roses , which are back this spring without taking the bulbs out in the summer . I did n’t have the braveness to leave the tulip in the priming since I ’ve miss many like that over the years . I have to treat tulip as annuals and have to travail them out in June and re - plant them again in former October in the same property .
“ We had some C over the tulips by mid - April but that did n’t affect them much . Also last year in April , we were enchanted by the delicate blossom of the shooting star and a great display of blue forget - me - nots by the white rockcress . I ’m always eager to see the fresh leaf of plants like hostas , fern , European pep , and ajuga in spring . ”
So great to see another beautiful time of year in your garden , Daniela ! Thanks so much .
