Naïo Technologies and Varta cooperate to make an autonomous transportable charging station for robot to tender higher performing robotics resolution to farmers . The first prototype will be presented at the FIRA 2020 from 8th to tenth December 2020 . The issue will be hosted online .
The objective of this collaboration is shared by both companies : providing end - to - end solutions allow for a remote charging post where no connexion to the electricity power system is necessary . This will be possible due to wireless solar or regenerative solutions , bring down the user interaction during mathematical operation . When robots run out of battery , they will navigate to their charging trailers by themselves . Both Naïo and Varta take aim to allow for sodbuster with the possibility to make employment of a golem for 24 hours without interest about power supply . This will be a major vantage peculiarly during high farming season .
Varta watch farming robotics as an egress growth mart : “ Bringing our expertise and experience to agrobots imply that Naïo Technologies as a market leader can focus on their core long suit : making the combination of robotics and farming a full winner . VARTA will turn on the robots to knead more expeditiously , as our king direction root will make blame quicker , more flexible and much easier , while our modern battery technology will tolerate for higher performance , ” underlines Steve Saunders , Key Account Manager UK & France at Varta .
Two proofs of concept have been launch to essay the resolution feasibleness : The first one will integrate Varta ’s batteries in Oz , the first robot of Naïo Technologies dedicated to market gardeners and already used by more than 120 husbandman . The automaton is targeted to acquire heavy than 30 % more autonomy . The second proof of concept consists of make a solar charging place which can be used directly in the theatre . These field charging station will be a earth first for agricultural robotics .
The Oz automaton is powered by the Easy Blade battery . generator : VARTA
“ Thanks to our historical screen background in the agrarian robotics environment , we can easy exchange with Varta about the existing challenges from a substance abuser point of view . As for all our golem , our priority is to offer to the end users , the James Leonard Farmer , an easy solution with the fewest potential constraints for their daily action . Thanks to Varta ’s renowned expertise , we are really excited to continue moving forward in this guidance , ” conclude Gaëtan Severac , Centennial State - founder of Naïo Technologies .
The first image will be pose at the FIRA 2020 , International Forum of Agricultural Robotics , taking place from 8th to 10th December 2020 on a digital platform .
